Tickets for London 2012

Ticketing Update
Tickets for the London 2012 Paralympic Games have been in unprecedented demand worldwide. Many of the larger spectator sports are close to selling out and as a result have many people on waiting lists for tickets.

Canada has received the first allotment of tickets. You will be contacted by Flight Centre if your request has been accepted by the London Games Organizing Committee.


Due to the high demand for all events, the CPC strongly recommends that you contact Flight Centre as soon as possible to place your ticket request so that you have the best chance of securing your tickets. There is no guarantee that you will receive the tickets that you request, but placing the request as soon as possible gives you the best chance.

How to Purchase Paralympic Tickets
The ONLY way to purchase tickets in Canada for the London 2012 Paralympic Games is through the CPC's exclusive Authorized Ticket Reseller, Flight Centre Business Travel. You are not able to purchase tickets through the Family & Friends website, but there are options for you to contact Flight Centre dire
ctly.Tickets are available through Flight Centre are on a first come, first served basis. Please note that CPC does not control this process or have any extra tickets to provide for Families & Friends.

Athlete Family & Friends Program
Two (2) tickets have been made available per athlete per session to all events in which an athlete competes, including preliminary, elimination, and medal round events. This program has been developed by LOCOG to ensure competing athletes' Family & Friends are able to have access to tickets to events in which "their" athlete competes. Family & Friends are still required to pay for these tickets, but they are available as an option for you to consider.

Please note: LOCOG has yet to release the location or price point of the Athlete Family & Friends Program tickets. The information is expected to be released in the Summer of 2012.


Accessible Tickets


Wheelchair Accessible Allocated Seating
Wheelchair accessible seating will be available in all price categories for every Paralympic sport. Every wheelchair accessible seat comes with a free companion seat (the cost is included in the price of the wheelchair accessible seat). Wheelchair accessible seats are subject to availability.

Additional Accessibility Requirements
Every venue has seating location options that are created to provide the best spectator experience   
  • Seats close to the action for visually impaired people
  • Seats with a direct view of a video screen for people who are deaf or have impaired hearing
  • Seats for people who cannot manage many steps, at the back or the front of a stand
  • Seats for people who need to be on the end of a row
Ticketcare
This London 2012 program is designed for people who do not need a wheelchair space but cannot come to the Games without a carer or Personal Assistant (PA). Program details are to be released in September 2011.

Accessible Facilities
Venues will feature commentary and audio description; audio enhancements; facilities for guide dogs and other assistance dogs; and numerous accessible toilets including toilet facilities with a hoist.
