Accessibility in London

In an effort to make London more accessible there have been numerous access upgrades and service enhancements to the city’s various transportation services. As part of the commitment, London 2012 has provided maps outlining the accessible travel routes and stations throughout London.

Venue shuttle services will be provided at many venues to transport spectators from a venue’s recommended station to the venue itself. This service will be available for all spectators and does not need to be pre-booked. Some venues will provide accessible shuttles capable of providing transport to multiple wheelchair users.

Underground Tube – Accessibility

By Games-time, London will have more than 60 Underground Tube Stations that will be step-free between the street and platforms, however, many of the stations have vertical steps into the train. it is advised that you use the resources below to plan the best routes for your travel needs.
