Currently, because the venue for the Closing Ceremony is still under construction, exact seating configuration and price levels are not known for this event. Therefore, these tickets will be unavailable for purchase by the public when tickets go on sale on May 6th, 2009. VANOC is finalizing these details and will release information once it has been confirmed. Please continue to visit the VANOC website above for updated information for the Closing Ceremony and when tickets may be purchased.

Group Ticket Program

VANOC has established a Group Ticket Program for purchasing tickets. A group of 20 or more individuals will qualify for group ticket pricing for most Whistler and Vancouver Winter Games sport sessions. More information will be available at the VANOC website at the time of the ticket sales launch.

Accessibility

VANOC is committed to providing a portion of the seating available at all sport venues and ceremonies as accessible seating during the Paralympic Winter Games. All venues have been reviewed for accessibility and every effort will be made for appropriate seating while considering persons with vision impairments, blindness, hearing loss, deafness, and mobility and/or agility impairments. In addition, all entrances and exits will be accessible.

Accessible seating for companions will also be available for purchase for those individuals requiring an assistant. In addition, all venues will allow guide dogs and have designated guide dog relief areas. Please mention your guide dog needs when completing your ticket requests thru VANOC.

Requests for accessible seating will be available for you when completing your ticket request form on the VANOC website anytime after May 6th, 2009.

Cultural Olympiad 2010

The Cultural Olympiad comprises the artistic and cultural programming to be held in conjunction with the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. It is an arts festival featuring events from a wide spectrum of artistic disciplines intended to entertain the public, to convey a specific image of Canada, to further international relations and friendships, and to reinforce the link between sport and culture.

The Cultural Olympiad, in partnership with the artistic community, will highlight some of the most diverse talent from across British Columbia, Canada, and the world, including music, theatre, dance, media, literary art, and Aboriginal art to mention a few.

The Cultural Olympiad will run from January 22-March 21, 2010 in both Vancouver and Whistler. There will be a wide range of free and ticketed performances and exhibitions. For more information on the Cultural Olympiad and to purchase any tickets, please click here.
